Overview
Stop digging through Tally and Excel to answer "how did we do?". Reports puts your sales, money owed to you, GST, stock movement and team activity behind one set of tabs — numbers up top, the detail below. Each tab only shows up for the people allowed to see that slice, so your operator never sees margins and your accountant never sees stock movement.
Where to find it
Open Reports from the sidebar, or go straight to /reports. It is web-only — there is no Reports screen in the mobile field apps.
The page opens on the Sales tab. Pick a date range at the top, then switch tabs. The tabs you actually see depend on your role — Owner and Manager see all twelve, others see fewer (see Role notes below).
Key concepts
- A report tab is one view of your data. The twelve tabs are: Sales, Aging, GST, Turnover, Channels, Customers, SKUs, Categories, Shipping, Returns, Team, P&L.
- Receivables aging sorts every rupee customers still owe you into buckets: Current (up to 30 days), 31–60, 61–90, 91–120, and over 120 days. Aging counts from the invoice due date (or the raise date if no due date is set), and only looks at open invoices — paid, draft and voided ones drop out, and any payments or counter tenders already recorded are subtracted first.
- Channel mix tags every order by how it came in — WhatsApp, Intake (a parsed draft), or Direct — and shows each channel's share of revenue.
- GST summary is a month-by-month roll-up: B2B sales grouped by your customers' GSTINs, plus an HSN-code summary, ready to read off when you file.
Common workflows
Open the Sales tab. Revenue, Orders and Avg order sit across the top with an up/down change against the previous period — drafts and cancelled orders are never counted, so the number is real money.
Open the Aging tab. Each customer's outstanding balance is split across the Current → over-120-day buckets. The over-120 column is the one to chase first.
Open the GST tab and pick the month and year. You get B2B totals by GSTIN and the HSN summary — taxable value, CGST, SGST, IGST.
Open the Turnover tab. Every active SKU is tagged fast / moderate / slow / dead by how fast it sold in the range, with days-of-stock against each one.
Hit Export in the page header. It downloads the period's daily sales as a CSV — Date, Orders, Revenue, GST collected and Net amount — one row per day.
Role notes
The /reports page itself opens for Owner, Manager, Operator and Accountant. Which tabs each one sees inside the page is what differs — and a role only sees what its permissions allow.
| Role | Sales & Customers | Operations tabs (Turnover, Channels, SKUs, Categories, Shipping, Returns) | Financial tabs (Aging, GST, P&L) | Team tab |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Owner | Allowed | Allowed | Allowed | Allowed |
| Manager | Allowed | Allowed | Allowed | Allowed |
| Operator | Allowed | Allowed | Not allowed | Not allowed |
| Accountant | Allowed | Not allowed | Allowed | Not allowed |
- Owner and Manager see all twelve tabs.
- Operator sees the base tabs (Sales, Customers) plus the operations tabs (Turnover, Channels, SKUs, Categories, Shipping, Returns). No financial tabs, no Team tab.
- Accountant sees the base tabs (Sales, Customers) plus the financial tabs (Aging, GST, P&L), and can pull a Tally export. No operations tabs, no Team tab.
- The Team tab is Owner / Manager only — nobody else sees per-person numbers.
DELIVERY, WAREHOUSE and SALES are not Reports roles and don't get the page at all.
Tips & time-savers
The Export button always exports the Sales period as a CSV regardless of which tab you're standing on, so you don't have to switch back to Sales first.
Gotchas
Aging and the financial tabs only count an invoice once it's left draft and isn't voided — a sale you billed but never finalised won't show up as money owed.
